Arash Azadi (b. 1994, Iran) is a Yerevan-based composer, sound artist, and performer whose interdisciplinary work bridges electroacoustic music, performance art, and audiovisual installation. Trained in classical Persian music and composition at Yerevan State Conservatory, he brings together acoustic traditions with cutting-edge technologies like Max/MSP and multi-channel audio.
Azadi’s work has been showcased across Europe, the US, and the Middle East, including appearances at major festivals such as CTM (Berlin), Unsound Yerevan, Urvakan, Synthposium, and reMusik (St. Petersburg). He was a selected artist of the prestigious SHAPE Platform (2019) and created works that premiered at Austria's Musikprotokoll festival and Carnegie Hall in New York, where his piece The Chain was performed in 2022 as one of the winners of the Sayat Nova Composition Competition.
A former artist-in-residence at Garage Studios and faculty at HSE Art and Design University, Azadi also curates his own label, Structured Experience. His practice is rooted in experimentation, often integrating live electronics, folk instruments, and performance into immersive experiences—making him an ideal fit for dynamic and forward-thinking institutions.
